Dental emergencies & ACC
In pain? We're here to help.
Dental pain and accidents rarely happen at a convenient time. If you're experiencing a dental emergency, contact us as early in the day as possible and we'll do our best to see you promptly.
During opening hours: Tue–Sat 8:30am–5:30pm
Outside these hours, for a serious emergency please contact your nearest after-hours dental provider, or Healthline on 0800 611 116 for advice. For a medical emergency, call 111 or go to your nearest hospital emergency department
Common dental emergencies
Toothache or dental pain
A knocked-out, broken, or chipped tooth
A lost filling or crown
Swelling of the mouth, face, or gums
A dental abscess or infection
Injury to the mouth after an accident
If a tooth has been knocked out, keep it moist (in milk or in your cheek), avoid touching the root, and call us straight away, time matters.
Dental injuries & ACC
If you've chipped, broken, or knocked out a tooth in an accident, at home, at work, playing sport, or otherwise you may be covered by ACC.
ACC can help cover the cost of treating accidental dental injuries. As a registered ACC treatment provider, we can lodge a claim on your behalf and talk you through what's covered.
Not sure if your injury is covered? Give us a call and we'll help you find out.
